Jumoké Fashola is an award winning Radio & Television Broadcaster & Jazz Singer.  Her Debut Album, ‘The Condition of Being A Woman’ has just been released.

Jumoké currently presents, Inspirit with Jumoké Fashola BBC London 94.9fm’s weekly faith & ethics magazine programme (Sundays 6am – 9am). The three hour programme takes a moral & ethical look at the weeks top news stories and explores spirituality in all it’s diverse facets. Guests on the show range from celebrities, philosophers, scientists, religious leaders & ordinary people with extraordinary stories. She was named Religious Broadcaster of the Year in 2005, awarded silver at the BBC Gillard Awards 2013 & bronze at the BBC Gillard Awards in 2010. In 2011 she was nominated in the Journalist of the Year category at theBEFFTA Awards and in the Series Category of the Jerusalem Awards.

She presented The Ronnie Scott’s Radio Show on Jazz FM, a weekly look at behind the scenes of the most famous jazz club in the world plus exclusive interviews and rare tracks. Friday evenings from 10pm.

Jumoké presented BBC London’s Late Show for three years, unwrapping London’s mind, body & soul. A four hour phone-in programme, it was a chance to find out about all aspects of London life, including ‘How to Guides’ on ways to improve health and wellbeing.  It also explored spirituality, relationships & friendships, with in-depth discussions on how they affect people. It investigated the latest health trends to hit London, offered help and advice on difficult relationships, and gave Londoners a chance to talk about life, love, mysticism & unwind.

She presented the Ronnie Scotts Brit Jazz Radio’s Drivetime show – “Close Enough for Jazz” live from Ronnie Scotts London during the 2010 Brit Jazz Festival.

Other radio credits include The Jeremy Vine Show (Radio 2) You and Yours (Radio 4) Pause for Thought  (Radio 2), Everywoman (BBC World Service), Drivetime (BBC London 94.9fm),Good Morning Sunday (Radio 2). TV credits include the Holiday Programme (BBC1),Summer Holiday (BBC1), Summer Praise (BBC1). She presented alongside Diane Louise-Jordan the BBC Faith in England Podcast

She was the host of Donnie McClurkin’s, Live in London album which went double platinum. She hosted the 2008 Mayoral Hustings featuring London Mayor – Boris Johnson, former London Mayor Ken Livingstone, Brian Paddick and Alan Craig at St Martin’s in the Field, London. She was the ‘Narrator’ for the World Premiere of Excite! the musical collaboration of Eugene Skeef and Richard Bissill performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall conducted by Vladimir Jurowski. She presented the BBC Symphony Orchestra’s,‘A Taste of Africa’ programme celebrating the music and culture of Africa.

She hosted the Brass and Choral Gala at the Royal Festival Hall, London which featured the internationally renowned soprano Hayley Westenra, the highly entertaining Austrian ensemble, Mnozil Brass and the Twyford Gospel Choir.

She has hosted many of the concerts for the past 3 years at the London Jazz Festival including Herbie Hancock; Sonny Rollins; Cleo Laine, Courtney Pine & Christian Scott.She was the host for the Gala Screening & concert of the film Benda Bilili at London’s Union Chapel
