Throughout his 25 year career, Guy Eckstine has distinguished himself as an A&R executive, artist manager, record producer, digital music pioneer, and musician, with a keen eye for finding and developing new talent. Eckstine has Produced and Executive Produced over 40 records, four of which have won Grammy Awards, including, “The New Standard”, by Herbie Hancock. Eckstine has held senior A&R positions at Creative Manager, Virgin Music; Director A&R, Columbia Records, VP A&R, Verve Records; and he was also a digital music pioneer, as SVP/Creative Development, at the original MP3.com.

Guy has worked with a stellar array of artists including Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock, Chris Botti, Vanessa Williams, Whitney Houston, Wayne Shorter, Art Porter, Brian McKnight, Will Downing, The Manhattan Transfer, Eric Benet, Hubert Laws, Incognito, Julia Fordham, Brian Culbertson, Jeff Lorber, The Boys Choir of Harlem, Terrence Trent D’arby, Gino Vannelli, and Frank Zappa, among many others.

Guy was a featured panelist at Digital Hollywood Urban Media Summit 2012, AMCON 2010, IBS 2009, CMJ 2008, and moderated Digital Hollywood 2007. Guy has also been a guest lecturer at the Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music, at New York University, and the UCLA Music Business Program. From 2011-13, Guy was an elected member of the Board of Governors at The Recording Academy, New York Chapter.
